25Motor Shield V2.0 (Seeed 105030001) Arduino Shield

The Motor Shield is a driver module for motors that allows you to use Arduino to control the working speed and direction of the motor. Based on the Dual Full-Bridge Drive Chip L298, it is able to drive two DC motors or a step motor. The Motor Shield can either be powered directly by Arduino or by an external 5V~15V power supply via the DC jack. This module can be used for the development of micro robots and intelligent vehicles, etc.

The defined pins are D8~D13 on the Arduino/Seeeduino board. D8, D11, D12, D13 are 4 output pins for controlling the speed or the direction of the motor. D9, D10 are enabled pins for two channels of the Motor Shield. So mostly you would use these 6 pins for your motor control, and you are able to drive at most two motors from one shield.The Motor Shield is compatible with many boards, for more details, please click the picture below.
