Overview
SerialFlash Board is a development tool for 8Mbit flash memory M25P80with SPI serial inteface.
The board features voltage translators providing different voltages to the system.
IDC10 connectors are used for easy connection.
Description
The SerialFlash Board features an 8 Mbit, low-voltage Serial Flash Memory M25P80 with 75 MHz SPI bus interface. Serial-interface memory can be used in numerous electronic devices and applications. Initially, it is used to store preference data and configuration/setup data. Serial memory modules are the most flexible non-volatile memory modules utilized today. Compared to other NVM solutions, the M25P80 memory module offers a lower pin count, smaller package, lower voltage, as well as lower power consumption.
The board is designed for devices requiring higher clock frequency. It combines an unprecedented level of technical performance, such as extended temperature range as well as improved speed of operation, and is ideal for applications such as multimedia devices, drives, optical and printing devices.
