Overview
SmartG100 is a uBlox Leon-G100 GSM/GPRS module development board with voltage regulation.
Switching power supply is provided on-board, so that no additional power supply is needed.
GSM Antenna is delivered with the board to provide a better quality of signal.
Description
SmartG100 is a full-featured development tool for the uBlox Leon-G100 GSM/GPRS module. This board has everything you need to create your own GSM-GPRS-based device. It features a voltage regulator, so you don't have to connect additional power supply circuits. Everything you need to do is to provide the board with the power supply voltage (9-32V DC or 7-23 AC), connect GSM antenna and you are ready to develop GSM-GPRS based devices. On-board DIP switch is used to configure connection lines for the desired microcontroller. The board can be connected to peripheral modules via IDC10 connnector and 2.54mm pin header. An antenna holder is also available on-board.
The LEON-G100 module from u-blox is a low-price, power-saving solution that brings a full-featured Quad Band GSM/GPRS class 10 data and voice transmission technology in a small package. LEON-G100 offers baseband, RF transceiver, power management unit, and power amplifier in a single, easy-to-use solution.
