The Pi UPS is a voltage surge protection controller PCB for commercially available Raspberry Pi devices with a battery connection.
The UPS is connected to the Raspberry using software provided by download.

The Pi UPS developed by CW2. assures the operation of the Raspberry Pi through the connected batteries. It is connected to the raspberry via a GPIO port. In the event of a power failure, the Raspberry can either be shut down properly via the USB connection or it can continue to run. There is no data loss and no risk of harm to the system. The applications running on the Raspberry Pi are permanently protected. The battery status is controlled using the CW2. software provided.

• P02 (+5V): Power supply for the Pi

• P11 (GPIO17, output): signal of Raspberry that it has started
• P13 (GPIO27, input): Battery low or empty
• P15 (GPIO22, input): Emergency operation, supply via secondary voltage
Display
• LED1: everything OK, normal status
• LED2: emergency operation, supply via secondary voltage
• LED3: battery low or empty
