Prototype board for 20-, 40- and 44-pin 8051 microcontrollers from Atmel with IDC10 extension. The board is powered by an external 8-16V AC/DC power supply connected via on-board connector. Tool features USB to serial UART interface device FT232R that can be easily connected to a PC.

 

Description

The 8051-Ready Board is the best solution for fast and simple development of 20-, 44-pin DIP and PLCC44 8051 microcontroller applications. It includes connectors for connecting the 8051prog2 in-system stand-alone programmer that enables you to program MCUs without any other additional device. There are also IDC10 connectors linked to the MCU pins provided on the board. These conectors enable numerous additional modules to be connected to the board, so you can quickly assemble functional working environment that perfectly suits your needs.

This tool also contains a USB to serial UART interface FT232R which simplifies USB to serial designs and reduces external component count by fully integrating an external EEPROM, USB termination resistors and an integrated clock circuit which requires no external crystal into the device.
