Nextion je riešenie rozhrania človek-stroj (HMI), ktoré kombinuje integrovaný procesor a pamäťový dotykový displej so softvérom Nextion Editor pre vývoj projektov HMI GUI. Pomocou softvéru NEXTION Editor môžete rýchlo vyvinúť HMI GUI pomocou komponentov drag-and-drop (grafika, text, tlačidlo, posúvač atď.) a inštrukcií založených na texte ASCII pre kódovanie interakcie komponentov na strane displeja. Displej Nextion HMI sa pripája k periférnemu MCU prostredníctvom sériového rozhrania TTL (5 V, TX, RX, GND), aby poskytoval oznámenia o udalostiach, na ktoré môže periférny MCU reagovať. Periférny MCU môže jednoducho aktualizovať priebeh a stav späť na displej Nextion pomocou jednoduchých textových inštrukcií ASCII. V porovnaní s inými sériami sú produkty série Edge ľahšie inštalovateľné a majú elegantnejší a tenší dizajn. Funkcie prehrávania zvuku, videa a animácií obohacujú interakciu používateľa s projektom HMI. Séria Edge podporuje pokročilé softvérové vlastnosti a funkcie, ako sú priehľadné komponenty, efekt načítania stránky, presúvanie a ťahanie komponentov atď.

Nextion is a Human Machine Interface （HMI） solution combining an onboard processor and memory touch display with Nextion Editor software for HMI GUI project development. Using the NEXTION Editor software, you can quickly develop the HMI GUI by drag-and-drop components (graphics, text, button, slider etc.) and ASCII text-based instructions for coding how components interact at the display side. Nextion HMI display connects to peripheral MCU via TTL Serial (5V, TX, RX ,GND) to provide event notifications that the peripheral MCU can act on, the peripheral MCU can easily update progress and status back to Nextion display utilizing simple ASCII text-based instructions.
Compared with other series, the Edge Series products are easier to install and feature a sleeker, slimmer design. The audio, video and animation play functions enrich the user’s project HMI interaction. The Edge Series supports advanced software features and functions such as transparent component, page loading effect, component Move and Drag .etc.
